2003 Chevrolet Malibu. Scytek Galaxy G40RS. 555l Bypass. Ignition Wires were easy, Bypass install went smoothly. Brown Wire in Passenger kick Tested right for parking lights. Remote start wouldn't activate, Stated the Parking Lights were on. Moved Connection to Negative White Wire at the BCM (didn't know about the bulb yet). Got a phone call said the starter wouldn't work in the morning. Picked up the car, the remote starter worked fine. The culprit, Burned out tail light bulb shorted the element between the Parking lights and the Brake lights. The headlights are Auto so they turn on When its dark, this sent 12V+ to the brake light Circuit killing the remote start and causing the remote start to think the parking lights were already on when connected to the brown Wire.
