The only way to tell is with the ADS USB programming cable and access to the restricted area of the iDatalink WEB site.

The white sticker on the box indicates what was loaded at the Factory.  It will work on your tC.  The other firmware you mentioned that uses an Ignition connection will work too.  You can try both ways, just do a full Factory reset between attempts ( plus start the car with a key in between  tries ) as detailed in the three steps above.

Soldering is fun!

I'll add that none of the Idata softwares will program using a valet key on Toyota products. Be sure to use a regular key....

So I went and paid a shop to install the transponder bypass and flash the module. I had all the correct wires, just could have been the firmware. It is now up and running thanks to your help kreg357. I really appreciate your time and knowledge on helping me out. It is now up and running and now to program the RS to get the settings I want. Would anyone know how to program the CS-600 with the 1 button remote. (1BR-AM remote)

That's good news.  The bad news is I don't think you can changes the programming options on the R/S with only one button remotes.  I usually use the OP-500 Programmer but have used the regular 4 button remotes ( CS600-s ) on them.

Ok, I went ahead and bought a CS600R 4 button remote, since the 1 button remote can't select options and that is the only other remote that works with my remote starter. Thanks guys.
