I purchased a idatalink weblink updater cable to update my cm6000.  Now the problem is I dont have an account to flash my module. Created an account and they disabled it.  I dont own a car audio installation business, just trying to update my personal car. Is there a way I get on the site so I can update. The reason I purchased the cable is because no local shop here will do it for me.

iDatalink requires a dealer/installer account to flash their equipment.

Does Fortin also require a dealer/installer account to flash their units?

I don't believe so but I can't be sure. I use mostly iDatalink modules. The few times I get Fortin modules it's usually an INT-SL+, Key-Override-All or an EVO-ALL which brings the firmware already preloaded.
I think all their modules are preloaded to make it more convenient for the installer.
iDatalink modules need to be programmed but you have more flexibility with their options.
You also mentioned updating a CM6000 which can only be done via the idatalink site.

Just a note on the CM6000 firmware update.  Aside from an iDatalink dealer account for site access and the ADS USB cable, you must have a Blade cartridge plugged into the CM6000 to update the Compustar's firmware.
Soldering is fun!

No dealer/installer account is required to flash Fortin modules. You only need the FLASH-LINK UPDATER.

Not sure where you are, but if you need it flashed, I can flash it for you.
