Hello everyone I recently installed an Autopage RS-900 in my 2003 F350 diesel and i bought the DEI 451m And i am looking for help installing it.  I know i need to use diagram c in the instructions for my truck.  What i need to know is what are the resistors for and specifically how do I wire it to my specific truck?  I have had some amazing help from krug357 on the system install.  I asked him the same but hoping to get a faster response.  I plan on working on this right after 5.

Follow the Type C diagram on page 3 of the 451M guide.  Group the thick output wires into two pairs, one

for Lock (WHITE/ Black and GREEN/ Black ) and the other for Unlock ( Blue/Black and BROWN / Black ).  The two
Violet wires come pre-connected with a fuse that gets connected to +12V constant.

Use this DEI Tech Tip ( https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=708 ) and the wire guide(s) info to

locate and verify the two wires in the truck.  They should be :
Lock Motor           Pink/Black  5wi            VSM
Unlock Motor       RED / Orange  5wi         VSM
The VSM (Vehicle Security Module) is to the right of the accelerator pedal above the transmission hump
below the radio.   Not accessible from radio opening.

This note from Builldog Security :

NOTE #2: Vehicles without FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY are a TYPE "C" Door Locking system, the
PINK / YELLOW is for LOCK and the PINK/LIGHT GREEN is for UNLOCK both wires are
found in EITHER KICK PANEL, you MUST use the DRIVERS DOOR SWITCH for TESTING.
if vehicle is equipped with FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY the Door Locks are a TYPE "B"
System, the LOCK is a WHITE/ RED (-) and the UNLOCK is a BLACK/ WHITE (-) both
wires are found at the VSM or in the DRIVERS DOOR HARNESS between the door and
the door jam. You MAY also need to connect up the GEM WAKE UP DIAGRAM if when
you use the REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY and the door locks stop working after a 5 minute
 wait.

This from another source :

Lock        PINK / YELLOW     DRIVER KICK (W/O OEM KEYLESS)
Unlock     PINK/GREEN      DRIVER KICK (W/ OEM KEYLESS)

I have found it easier to locate the wires in the Passenger Kick Panel.

Soldering is fun!
