I currently have a rear view camera set up on my pioneer AVH-P3200.
The way its currently wired is 12v power from the reverse tail light and ground to ground. So it only gets power when the vehicle is in reverse.
Does anyone know where I can connect the 12V power to in the rear of the truck thay will provide a constant 12V only when the vehicle is running?
I want to be able to switch on the camera when I'm in drive to be able to check on the loads I'm towing.

I believe the 12volts power outlet(lighter plug) in the back of the van is an accessory wire.

Hey mike, thanks for the reply but it's a Gmc Sierra Truck, not a Sienna van.
I'm wondering if there is a connection underneath the back of the truck somewhere.

Hehe, gotta stop trying to read while half asleep!

I've done many cameras in silverados and have never found any switched power in the back. Heck, it's hard enough trying to find it up in the dash of that truck...
