This amp claims 600w peak and Im figuring around 300w rms. Now since my electrical system averages out at 13.8-14.7(depending on rpm)and the amp is running two 12 inch 200w subs (bridged,4 ohm, spec sheet says 150w x 2 into 4 ohms). The amp has 2-25amp fuses its a 4 channel amp(2 2ch amps combined into one housing), Im trying to get an average actual power rating. Cheap amp so not trying to blow the doors off the car. Thanks for the help!!!

2X25 amp fuses = max continuous current draw of 50 amps. 50 amps @ 14.4 volts = 720 watts input to the power supply. If it's a class A/B amplifier, average efficiency is 65%, so 65% of 720 watts = 468 watts. 468 watts divided by 4 channels = approx. 117 watts per channel. This would be as the fuses are about to blow.

Surprised to see that kind of power levels from these amps as they are rated at 600w peak at 14.4v, well, the subs are getting around 200watts each which is what they recommend. Thanks for the info!!!!!
5 stars to you!!!!!
