I already know a DEI 507m wont provide a ground output to trigger an oem door trigger, or a relay for that matter. whatever the output is on the blue wire is presumably data.

does anyone know of ANY OTHER brand tilt sensor that WILL work in an oem alarm application and provide a solid ground output to trigger a door pin?

Depending on how sensitive you want it, a simple mercury switch would work. I used one on my old bike to trigger the alarm anytime the bike was stood up from the stand. I never had any trouble with false alarms... but I don't know how well it would work on a car. It also isn't self setting so if you were on a slope it would not work.

I'm surprised a 507M won't trigger a relay. Try a 451M lock relay as it requires a lot less to trigger it. We use them for bluetooth applications as the Advent nor the Parrot will trigger a standard relay but will a 451M.
