i installed a viper 5704 security and remote start and fl can on a 2007 jeep wrangler x manual trany. after all was installed and working fine i had a bad car battery and had to replace it.after it was installed i found that info was lost on the fl can and had to re flash. i buy a weblink updater and tried to flash the fl can off their web site but the computer would not recognize the idatalink updater.am i missing something?

It does NOT work on Firefox either. You have to use IE.

I do not know, tomorrow I will plug ours in and see if it shows up on the computer. I do not think any drivers are needed. I will check with my installers, they may have had to install software.

Look for a C:\SiLabs directory.  Think that is still part of the ADS USB cable support files.  Here is a link to the WebLink Updater 5.0 PlugIn download  :   http://www.idatalink.com/support#tab=_weblink-plugin         It will tell you if it is already loaded.

Soldering is fun!
