I have a couple of questions on a r/s alarm install i just started.

I started to install a viper 5704 with an Idatalink bypass madule on lincoln mkz 07. First of this install started on the wrong foot the 07 wire diagram does not match this car well half does so i just had to figure them out on my own.

My first question is about the factory alarm disarm I have WHITE/ blue(+) going to the GREEN/ black (-) from 5704 I will use a relay to convert it to (+) Is that all I need to by pass the factory alarm?

The secound question is for the tach it says N/A I have never done a car that does not ned a tach. I was thinking of still going to the uncommon wire at a coil. I wanted to know if that would be ok. If not can someone explain to me how to achive a no tach install? Any advice would be very appriciated. Thanks

No better feeling then getting a remote start to work right!

Here is what I show for factory arm / disarm and tach:
Factory Alarm Arm      PURPLE / green and YELLOW /GREEN (driver door keypad)      both -      driver kick or SJB, conn. C, pins 16 and 21
Notes: The SJB (Smart Junction Box) is part of the fuse/relay box under the driver side dash.
Factory Alarm Disarm      PURPLE / brown (driver door key unlock) (w/o memory)      -      driver kick or SJB, conn. C, pin 5
Notes: The SJB (Smart Junction Box) is part of the fuse/relay box under the driver side dash.
On vehicles with memory seats, the factory alarm disarm wire is PURPLE / brown (-) at the Driver Door Module in the door, 24 pin plug, pin 2.
Tachometer      NOT WHITE/ blue (2.3L, 3.0L), NOT PURPLE / grn (3.5L)      ac      any fuel injector
