2008 f150 choosing system

Hi; I do a lot of electrical work at our small independent auto repair shop. I have Mitchel on Demand and Alldata information systems. I have installed 4 or 5 remote start units over the last 10 years. (Usually Autopage). One of our steady customers wants me to install a remote start unit in his 2008 Ford F-150. He doesn't want anything extravagant. Just keyless entry, remote start, and only one keyfob. I did install a unit on a 99 explorer with pats once. I used the wrap a wire around the head of the key trick. I am hoping not to use that this time and just get an interface module. Please suggest a interface module, and remote start unit.I am looking for ease of installation with minimal wire splices. Again, all I want is keyless entry and remote start. He doesnt care if he uses his original key fob, or a key fob provided by the remote start manufacturer. Thanks for any advice.

The big issue will be to get two, working, non-clone keys from the customer to program the bypass

module ( both keys will be returned to customer ).  Without two keys your options are limited. 

If price is an issue, an Ultra Start U1272 with a Directed 1100F bypass module would be a

decent choice.  You would still have to make the normal wire connections but the total costwould be around $70.  I have done 2007 - 2010 F150's this way with excellent results.

If price was no object and you wanted easy...  Buy a Compustar CM6200-s remote start system

and the Fortin EVO-ALL bypass module.  Go with D2D 2-way comm between the units and follow the  Connection 2 diagram in this install guide :  https://ifar.ca/download/7211/preview.htmlYou would also need a four button remote kit like the RF-1WG5-SS one-way remotes with upto 1 mile of range.  Figure on about $220 for this set-up.

The only "Got-cha" on this truck is the Parking Lights.  Use the PURPLE / WHITE (+) wire at the

 SJB, GRAY 13-PIN PLUG(E), PIN 6.

Thanks for the advice. Our customer found the same unit you mentioned with the Fortin EVO-ALL on eBay(Used) for 150. The neat thing is the guy who was selling it had just removed it from his 2008 F-150! (He was trading it in on a new car that came with RS). Since I am putting it back in a 2008 F150, it should go pretty smooth!
