Ok so iv had a compustar CM3000 alarm for a few years now controlling my door solenoids for my shaved handles. A few weeks ago the aux outputs and remote start stopped working. When I try to start the car by R/S the the blower motor will turn on but the car dosnt crank. The brain seams to just not be outputting the aux pulses. I took it to a local installer an he spent a good few hours goin over it and he says everything is properly installed (which I already knew) and said their was a problem with the brain and maybe its not programed properly. He didn't charge me for looking over it I know he tried he's well experienced. Has anyone ha this problem? I am stumped and don't know what to do. I was thinking about just buyin a new brain to save me the headache. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement online? Whats the cost of one of these? Input would be appreciated as I would love to be able to open my doors again!

Where is the unit grounded? Brains can go bad, but it is very rare. Are you getting any voltage on the ignition and starter wires when you try to remote start it? Did you have the aux inputs directly on the solenoids or through a relay? If relays were used, are they working properly (connect 85/86 to power/ground and see if the relay clicks)?
