My car has no factory alarm but i did install the Viper 3203 a while back(2 way keyless entry/alarm with optional remote start). That optional remote start is with the Avital 4003l, a separate brain.
Installation went smoothly, and everything works as it should, EXCEPT, for one thing. I can remote start with the Viper 3203 keyfob (as it has a remote start Icon on it) and it works, however, when i Remote Start with the Viper Armed, my alarm sets off.
Now i know on the Avital there is a "Factory Disarm" wire that wires up to a factory alarm to disarm OEM system to prevent horn from going off. In my case i have a Viper alarm, do i still use the "Factory Disarm" wire from the Avital to the Viper; if so what wire do i tap it in, in the Viper 3203? If not what has to be done?

you need to remove the viper ignition input which is yellow from the vehicles ignition wire and solder it to the avitals yellow ignition input.
