I just bought a used 2006 ford mustang gt. it has a avital remote start system install in it this is an aftermarket system\

the ford dealer told me that is has a code alarm system in it !!

when you lock the doors there is no horn honk or a beep

well from what i have read about alarm systems there should be a valet button

but for the sanity of the brain i cannot find the dam thing!! as it is i would like to get some of the options working on this alarm to work. is there anyone here know anything about 2006 ford factory alarms??

OR would it be best to reomve the avital remote start and install a complete full featured alarm system

been looking at the python 5904- 594

is there any one here that can help???

Your probably going to have to search for it. Best bet is to find the brain and follow the wiring to the valet button, it's normally a blue two pin plug on the brain. It's possible they didn't even install one. It's also very possible the original owner didn't have horn honk hooked up. As far as replacing, it's really up to you on if you want security and two way or just a basic 1 way remote start with keyless.
