Hello all, my name is Chris and I am stumped on wiring my in-cab winch controls for a Warn 8274-50 8K winch into my 05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Yes, I performed a search before posting, and while the two threads were concerning the same subject, mine is different. The new Warn winches have a 5 pin remote with what I have come to understand as a "switchable" ground. I have been scouring various off-road forums and the such in hopes of an answer, yet I have not come upon the solution which will not override this built in safety system Warn has gone to. I purchased this http://www.12voltguy.com/2.75-SQUARE-DUAL-WINCH-WITH-MINI-BUTTONS.html from the 12voltguy.com since I will be adding a winch to the rear of my vehicle at a later date.

When I wired everything up, that's when I found out that my winch has the floating ground that must be activated as well when the button is pressed. I found this diagram from Slee Offroad ( http://www.sleeoffroad.com/technical/tz_winch_controls.htm); however, it will not work for my setup as my switches are not capable of activating the ground when depressed.

I am not a wiring guru by any means; however, there has to be a way to incorporate relays so the system I have will work. I have already cut my dash for switch install (I know, I know, dumb move) so I would really like to get this to work. Any help to getting this work will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Semper Fi,

Chris

I apologize for the pictures being so huge. I tried to resize them before I posted.
