Hello - I have a Chevrolet Cavalier - 2000 model.  Does the carpet in the back (where the rear deck speakers are located) come out completely??

I'd like to install my new Audiobahn 6x9's but wasn't sure if the carpet came completely out. I didn't want to break the thin wood paneling that sits back there.

Thank you!!

Yes it dose pull off. I believe in that car the rear seats fold down if I can remember correctly. When you fold the seats down you should have four screws on the top of the frame around the back seat. Unscrew them and pull the seat back, now you should be able to pull up the rear deck. Do it slow it will get stuck on the pillars just pull up and out. Hope this helps!
