I proberbly sound like a right twat but i've got a new stereo and i ain't got a clue how to wire it up..I need help coz i don't wanna blow it up...Help!!!!!

Well we need specifics to help.  What kind of car you have, are you replacing a factory HU or aftermarket, what headunit are you installing, are you adding other components (amps, speakers ect.).

Love to help...... need the info tho!

We've got a 1989 Ford Escort..Which came without a stereo at all....The stereo i've brought is a jvc face off....All i want to do is put it in,using just the 2 front speakers.Is that any good???

What you'll need is a Dash Kit like this one and a Metra Harness like this one. The METRA harness will plug into the car where the factory radio originally plugged into. Your new headunit should have a connection harness of its own. All you have to do is splice the correct ends together and you're good to go. You can get the Dash Kit and Metra harness from any Car Audio shop, I think Sears even carries a few if you get in a pinch!
Here's a link to what the OEM wires are. Both the Metra harness I linked to and the aftermarket radio harness should say what each wire is as well so you know you're connecting the correct wires together!
What you'll wind up with is:
Car <--> Metra Harness <--> Aftermarket Headunit Harness <--> Aftermarket Headunit
