Thanks Howie,
Sorry I didn't indicate this before..but the way you have explained it is the way it's going to be wired. With the internal relays I don't see a need for an additional relay to isolate the resistor from the receiver.
Hopefully I will get this installed tomorrow weather permitting and I will get back to here and let you know what happens.
I appreciate the help! I just wanted to make sure my assumptions were in agreement with some one who had installed on the mux setup before.

I,m happy to report that the system is installed and working fine!
I had a little trouble with the rear hatch. The information in the application information from Directed was incorrect in my case. They specified the trunk release was to be triggered on the lift gate switch mux which makes sense..but in my situation it would not work at all on that circuit.(C2 Cavity 6) I tried all the listed resistances plus the 2.7K that the factory service manual shows with no change.
I did get it to work properly though just on a different circuit the lift gate handle switch sense ckt which is also at bcm connector 2 but in cavity 22. Service manual does not give an actual resistance for that switch but schematic symbol indicates there is one. I used 1.7K ohm resistor to the channel 2 output and it worked fine. All original switches worked fine after installation also so there is no additional loading problems.
Thanks to Howie and everyone who helped and answered my questions. Hopefully I can repay this in the future. I did several on GM vehicles while working as a GM master tech but I have since retired and all that's behind me.. almost :)

Don't worry radiotech, you aren't the only retiree here, how do you think I get time to answer multiple questions from across the pond?*
Glad you succeeded though.

I can sure say it takes me a lot longer now to do an install like this :) Too many things working against me LOL!
