Good day to all.
I have an MTX 6001 class D amplifier (http://archive.mtx.com/caraudio/archive/mxaAmps/MXA_Class_D.pdf)
I recently purchased an alpine sws-12D4 12'' sub- http://support.alpine-usa.com/products/documents/OM_SWS-101215_D4_2.pdf
I never really understood the whole ohms of subwoofers. I've done a lot of wiring but not really with stereos in depth. Could someone advise the best wiring option for my gear? I've been told that this sub should really rock with my amp- it works pretty good, just not as good as I was hoping. Perhaps its just the nature of the beast.
Thank you so much in advance!

Wire both voice coils in parallel to your amp for a net 2-ohm load. Properly power and ground the amp and set the amplifier's gain properly (see the Hot Topics section.) What sort and size of enclosure is the woofer mounted in?
