The people i work for are importing a chinese gps unit for me to install in vehicles, installed a few had alot of different issues, most troubling one is the unit when fitted, and the power locks negative trigger is connected the rocker switch fails to work, has happened numerous times on different vehicles, no matter wat i did, was unable to find away around it, had to end up removing the system altogether. The outputs from the system are relay driven, so they can be wired as the vehicle locking system requires. But this is really troubling me, seeing that all the cars i deal with are negative trigger. Any thoughts, suggestions, or ideas?

Have you checked if gps lock outputs rest at some positive voltage for some reason?

All circuits should be verified with a digital multi-meter prior to making any connections.

Let me guess. you have the six wires for the onboard central locking relays?
If you have this setup, you should only need to use four of the six wires. Nothing should be connected to postive....
N/O should be connected to Earth and the output connected to the lock.
Without understanding whats happening totally, I hope I've been of some help.

I hate these chinese units, believe me, @ overworked, no connection to a positive whatsoever, gotta use the onboard relays to drive two external relays. Only solution working for me right now
