does any Australians have any success with xpresskit's Dball?
I've tried them twice and they both failed to program.
Is there any other products that is more suitable for our cars?
2008 civic failed / ended up using PKall
2008 Evo x MR Failed / no solution yet.

be careful with the data wire on the civic. It is very easy to get the wrong one. There is small pinout labeling on the plug from honda that is reverse to what is posted by the many bypass manufacturers. On the honda the data pin is lt green (pin 3), it almost appeared white on my vehicle. Watch out because pin 5 is grey (its a seven pin plug, if you have it upside down 3 is 5 and honda has pin 5 labeled as 3).
It will not program is you have the wrong one. If you look at the idatalink or fortin install instructions it become clear why so many people have problems programming these dballs things

Only one baddie from hundreds installed here in the UK, just remember they don't do all that's written on the label!
E.G. hardwire parking brake, hood switch on Vauxhalls (Opels and Holdens)
P.S., I've done at least 3 Civics of around that year, no problems.
