Installed an Avital 4113 and PKALL tonight. When you remote start the car the security light is flashing. When you do key takeover, the light continues to blink. I vaguely remember a latching relay diagram that keeps the security light wire interupted til the ignition is turned off for one of the same car I did a while ago but I cant find it anywhere. Anyone have something they can send me? The customer cant come back for a week so I have a little time.

This might be a quick solution. If the Rav4 doesn't have a factory alarm, You should be able to disconnect the Keysense wire. Toyota's check for a transponder with keysense. When they do a "takeover" inserting the key will turn off the light. Obviously if the Rav4 has a factory alarm, this solution will not work and you'll need to interrupt the security light wire as you said. I do not have the latching relay diagram for you, maybe somebody else will chime in with one.

Yes, what flobee said. I don't think they've ever made a RAV4 with a factory alarm, so keysense would never need to be connected.
(Although it's still good to test for a factory alarm, as there is probably a dealer-installed accessory alarm available that someone might have bought.)
