Hi guys! I need help plz!
I changed Sony head unit:CDX-M730 for CDA-7998(Alpine)
and i have this set up:
Speakers
Front: SPR-176A (Alpine)
Rear: SPR-694A (Alpine)
Sub: SWR-1541D(Alpine)
Amplifiers
MRD-M300(Alpine),MRV-F340(Alpine)
So i install my new CDA-7998 and i have engine noice in right speakers(front and rear)even when i turn key in first position i have some noice like (tik tik tik tak tak )but only in rear rignt and when i turn key to ignition position both speakers(rear left and front right)start to hiz.And when i start the car the engine noice coming.I didn't have this problem with sony may be i did cople of times but i thought that it's because i put ground wires from both amps to the same whole that i make so i separated them and i never had any noices !
The RCA cables are Philips not very expensive but not very chip. This noice drives me MAD!
Plz could you help me.
Thank you very much

That’s a nice unit but this could be a tough problem to solve. First thing I would do is find a new ground behind the dash (just find some bare metal and sand it down and attach the new ground). If the noise doesn’t go away change the rca's around. Put the front right on the front left and the right rear on the left rear and see if the noise moves to the left side. Post your results

It’s a possibility, but try what I suggested above with switching the rca's around. It will tell us allot (you can do that from the amp rather then from in the back of the dash)

Hey bberman1.
I checked RCA cable....99%they are causingthe noise.
I just took all of them out and to use one pair of"very cheap" RCA cablesfor to check channels in turn and none of them were making noise!
So tomorrow i am going to buy new pair of RCA cable.I will let you know how it goes after i have them installed.
Thank you again.
