I have the code alarm ca6553. I am unsure how the starter kill relay is wired? The remote start does not activate, the lights flash great! The "starter input key side" and the "ignition +" is my issue. The doors locks do not respond with the remote. I did review the many diagrams on line, just does not"click".

we need more info, what kind of vehicle, I think you may have more issues if the locks are not working.

The vehicle is the 2002 Chevy Tahoe. The current issue is with the FlashLogic(Flcan)interface module that does not program according to the instructions. I am not seeing how the ca6553 controls the vehicle locks. The vehicle has factory auto locks. I am trying to avoid the 3 pin output door lock harness. It is a part of the ca6553.

The fl can is a bit of an over kill on the vehicle as it only does transponder. Locks will have to be wired from the rs unit and they are pos not neg.
ign+ goes to pos ign and starter input key side goes to the switch side of the starter wire.

I appreciate the information. I used the Directed Gm door lock interface 555l. It appears to function accordingly. However, the door lock function does not activate with the ca6553. I have not connected the door lock connector. I would like to program the remote of the ca6553 with the keyless entry of my vehicle. The documentation claims the ability to learn other transmitters.

I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, with the passlock 2. I am using the code alarm ca6553 alarm\remote start. I would like to have the dome light flash with the alarm. What is the proper wiring tech?

There are a couple of different ways you can tackle this.
1.) You could cut the parking light output wire from the CA6553 (white wire - 4pin harness) and put in a diode [to prevent backfeed] and use that wire to power the domelight.
2.) You could tap off the siren output wire from the CA6553 (brown wire - 4pin harness) to drive a simple turn signal flasher relay to power the domelight.
I'm not sure if your dome light is - or + switched so you may need to use a relay if it is - switched.

I would like to use the remote for my code alarm ca6553, with the existing chevy Tahoe keyless entry. I did try programming the remote.

I'm slightly confused. Your previous post state you are using a Directed 555L unit. That unit is simply a GM Passlock bypass kit. It has nothing to do with lock integration.
I think you'll just have to tap the door lock/unlock wires using the 3 pin harness and then you can soley use the ca6553 remote. You will need to use a relay for both of those triggers as the remote start outputs a - pulse but your truck needs a + pulse for its door locks.

Thanks for the info! Now I have a different issue. The door locks work. The remote start works. In the armed mode, when the remote start is activated, the alarm sounds. The LED flashes twice, for hood/trunk. I didn't use the trunk wire. The hood pin was not used the wire is grounded. The "purple" wire the door trigger + output, for the code alarm ca6553, is not connected. The vehicle "dome light" wire gray/black at the BCM, is negative with the open. It shows positive when the door is closed and the dome light off.
I require a solution to my wiring issue!
