avital d2d activate

To activate the d2d is it just connecting the white and blue to ground and turning the ignition on and off? I have everything hooked up, but didn't know it did not come in d2d mode.

Not ignition, but constant power to the module. 1: Remove power by either unplugging the connector with the constant feed, or pull the fuse on that wire. 2: Connect WHITE/ blue to ground. 3: Reconnect constant power. 4: Observe the Avital LED; it tells you whether you're in Bitwriter or data mode. The instructions tell you what the LED is supposed to be doing. Or just skip this part if you don't have the instructions. 5: Remove the ground from the WHITE/ blue.
