How can I tell which passlock version I have on a 2005 Chevy Cobalt Base?

Basically it's Passlock2 with the possibility of PassKey3+ thrown in.  Check your ignition key for the "+" sign inside of a circle.

Your 2005 Cobalt uses the Type 7 install diagram so see Page 5 for the New Generation Passlock testing procedure and

other good to know info.
