2001 honda civic lx sedan, viper 350 plus

Had a few questions for the experts. Pulled up the wiring print and read through the forum. 1. With the door locks being type B can I just use the lock/unlock wires from the alarm to the wires in the drivers kick panel.? Or is the the plug there for factory keyless and can I use those wires ? 2. With having to diode isolate the door triggers, what part number or spec diode should I get ? Will buy at radio shack most likely. Any other pointers on this install are appreciated. Thanks in advance

1) Yes. 2) Your gauge cluster has a door warning light, use the feed to there for the door triggers, no diodes required. Or the wire that switches to NEG turning on the dome light when the door is opened. Or the factory alarm plug. Test before boxing up.
