Hi,
I forgot to ask if there is a newer module I can use for the transponder of my 2004 BMW X5 3.0. In my olden days (10+ years ago) when I used to do this 555U used to do the job for all....:) I hear now are the can bus modules that make the installer life extremely easy. Few wires and control the entire car...
Thanks,
howie (aka: harryharris)

No you'd still be using a 556U on an 04 X5.
Wiring is either in vehicle wiring or the archives.
Test before boxing up.

hi,
Thanks for the info. I was looking in the wiring diagrams and the x5 is the that's missing the diagrams. I don't know where to look for archives.

Identical to 5 Series sedan.
Test before boxing up.
