I have a 1996 city golf.is there any way of using a keyless entry central locking kit with relays to use as a remote start? I tried to search online and I only found the diagram with the 12 relays.is that the only way it can be done.what I thought is if I can use the lock button as a start button and the unlock button as the idle cut button.would me amazing if there is a way of doing this, your feedback will be much aprreciated.

No that diagram is unusable, you need safety cutouts, tach input etc. etc.
And how does any of that get you past the factory transponder immobiliser?

The leading South African electronics company, the manufacturer of autowatch alarms.
You appear to love complication rather than simple elegance.
Your last thread on head unit shutdown, so much easier to wire the radio properly.
Also your ACC as I already told you is BROWN / red, you've also A SECOND IGNITIOM.

(laughing) I like to figure out stuff and challenges.
No They don’t have remote start kits in South Africa, that’s what’s going to make it so exciting when I figure it out.

Google Viper.com, they used to make an add-on remote start which might be the answer but none are good for manual transmission, what if you leave the car in gear?
