working on the windshield wipers, bairly touched the replacement antenna, it separated where the mast joins the cable...

is it possible to rejoin the cable and mast?

if not, I can always get a replacement mast and cable assembly, but not looking forward to digging into the dash to connect the antenna to the deck..

how likely is it for me to cut the existing antenna cable from the deck and join it to a replacement antenna cable - mast assembly.

Those antennas can be found at most auto parts stores. Advance/auto zone/o' Reilly napa etc. Under $20 for a good one. For reference the antenna cable is just a coaxial (tv) cable. You can easily put coax terminals on the end for easy splices, or just strip and solder the center wire making sure not to let the copper touch any of the metal braided shielding.
To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*

right on

got a replacement antenna at AZ,, found a universal coaxial cable female end at Radio Shack,, to put on the existing coax,, so I would not need to re string the cable under the dash.. working fine!
