And to add to what Kreg said we can't advise you any further unless you show a photo of where you wired to the that neutral safety wire. Hint that wire only goes to ground when the vehicle is in neutral.

Ran the shutdown diagnostics when I had some time today and got 7 flashes for neutral safety. Tried grounding the wire in a different location and it works! Must have tested a slightly different location than I grounded to last night when I tried it. Oh well, everything works that I need to to for now! Now on to tweaking it. Thanks for all the help on here and on my other thread, it is all much appreciated! :)

And I am working on that neutral safety switch. I will be hunting downtown that wire in the ecm, as well as the tach wire. I currently am not remote starting my car for anything other than testing. I understand the implications and dangers of trying to remote start a manual transmission car. I didn't want to take the time to diy a neutral switch if my remote starter wasn't even going to work. (I did think that my unit was broken for a while)
