I installed an Avital 3100L alarm to my 2002 Ranger truck. I added the 451M door lock relay module to the alarm box. I installed the factory Ford 2 wire power door lock latches and 3 wire door switches. I wired the Ford door lock actuators using the wiring diagram for Reverse polarity actuators. It works perfectly with the Avital alarm and remotes.
I want to wire in the factory Ford door switches to this system.
Can I use the 5 wire alternating 12 volt positive door lock diagram without a separate power source to the door switches ?
What is the best way to wire them in ?
Thanks

I would use negative polarity to operate the switches. So one of the 3 wires on switch will goto ground and the other to lock and unlock from alarm make sure to diode isolate so you don't feed into alarm brain

djrico724 thank you for the reply. I don't work on electronics all the time so I am not following you with the diode isolate. Is there a diagram that you can point me to for the reverse polarity ?
Thanks

Diode bands away from alarm, use 1N4004 diodes.
