back again having problems with my viper

I did test the green h3 & violet h3. They checked out Ok. I also checked continuity between the yellow starter wire, at the IGN switch & the yellow wire to the starter. . And there was continuity all way thru the viper. So I'm sure now that the problem lies at the ignition switch. Or the starter wire out of the switch?

So check for 12 volts at green and violet on regular start.

Yes I did this sorry, I should have mentioned it. I get intermittent power at the h3 green & violet.

Intermittent?? Meaning 12V+ for4 about 1 second, goes off when you release the key back to ignition?

If I jiggle the key in the start position. The h3 green & violet will get power & crank (intermittently)

Think you just found the answer, simple get out, use the R/S to start and then key and footbrake take-over.

Sometimes when the key is turned to the start/crank position the h3 wires receive 12v..
Other times turning the key to the start/crank position will not provide 12v to the h3.

Either what I said in my last post or a new ignition switch.
