Hey guys! I have an older astroflex starter alarm combo. Says it was manufactured in 05, came out of an 01 dodge grand caravan.
Part number is 392-127-300
Rev-1
Model MV
Barcode says MV1527463
I picked this up at the scrap yard, so no fobs with it. I was curious what fob I should order or if anyone has two I can purchase? Also is it even worth it or do these units suck?
Any help appreciated.

Those units are rock solid units. I have only had to replace one of those brains in all of them I have installed. As for the remotes it is hard to say without seeing the ant and knowing if it has the lock and unlock harness. Pics of the brain and wiring and ant and reciever and I could tell you what remotes to get.

Awesome. I will snap a picture right away and post it here. Also if you happen to have a link to the manual that would be greatly appreciated.   Again thanks so much.   Love the peeps on this forum!

Let me know what you think. The Astrostart guys weren't so helpful.

Smokeshow, who has a very similar unit (part# 392-1273-317), has kindly indicated his remote is a j5f-tx2000. He's currently on here trying to reprogram his remote to the unit after having car audio work done and the remote no longer responding afterwards.
