I installed my remote starter and my Xpress Passlock bypass on my 04 Saturn Vue. All works great as expected. But now whether the key is in or out of the ignition, and the door is open, the bell dings to tell me the key is in the ignition. It use to do it until i removed the key.
Suggestions?

what specific module did you use ?
sounds like a keysense wire-
KEYSENSE WIRE CONNECTION
Connect this wire only if the vehicle’s
keysense wire goes to ground (Neg) when
the doors are closed & key is in the Ign.

No, the instructions were telling you how to check if connecting it was required. If you do need to connect it, you wire it to the green on the PLJX. If you connect it to ground then yes the key-in chime will always make noise when the vehicle isn't running and the drivers door is open.

Did you connect the keysense wire to anything or just remove it from ground?

Test the key sense wire in the ignition harness. Most likely it shows ground when the key is in the ignition and nothing when the key is removed.
It sounds like you have the key sense connected directly to ground.
