xk05 and lexus rx350

trying to program xk05 to 2008 lexux rx350 for remote start only..wired and when following programming, found led stays on solid when plugged in. when key in cylinder, led flashes..and stays flashing..then stays on solid. then won't try programming again until i disconnect and re flash...any ideas?

if it stays solid it most likely programmed. have you tried remote starting

Yes...it doesn't work. it needs to stop flashing to show programming complete. flashing means in progress. I even tried switching rx and tx wires. still won't program. now won't even flash..just stays on solid. once I flip wires again..(wire them the way they were originally, no I get it flashing for about 2 minutes. still will not program. I think it may be a defective module.

Yup ...it's a defective module..now I try to flash it to the same firmware again, and the computer and xk loader won't recognize it...module is fried...thanks for the reply. I tried a DBALL module...programmed easily and fast..no problems now.
