Hey all- I just purchased (2) 2014 Mazda 6's with automatic transmission, i am installing a remote car starter in the vehicle. I am installing the Avital 4103 and the FLCAN bypass, my question is they said i have factory alarm with both vehicles and it tells me that i have to cut the OEM hood pin wire which one end goes out to the hood pin in the engine bay and the other side goes to the BCM 2 trunk. Anyone ever install it like this with this FLCAN bypass? I appreciate any help. Thanks, Brian
Thanks, Bri

The time it takes to just run your own good switch and not worry about the factory good switch...now with that said if it's easy to access sure is it...but each kit comes with the pin switch and it's simply finding a spot for the switch under the hood. :)
Solder, tape, repeat!
