was adding blocking diodes to my turn signals the other day so that i could connect my alarm's parking light output to them. Unfortunately the airbag plug which connects to the steering wheel was in the way so i disconnected it. After i finished my job and connected everything, the airbag light keeps on flashing in my dash and i can't get it to stop!!

Have you tried to disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes?

I'm not sure what kind of a vehicle you have but i work with a chevy dealer and once had a simmilar problem which was easily repaired using there code scanning tool we usually do this kind of thing for free so i would check with the local dealer for youre car make and see if they can reset your codes 5 minutes max..

Hello,

This is a very famous issue.

This is very normal since your airbag registered a false signal. Tip: never disconnect a airbag plug. How to recognize? Yellow connectors and yellow Wires!!. If you do want to disconnect them tahn you should take off your negative wire from your battery!!

How to solve the problem now?

1) situation one: you go to a brand dealer: they connect their Lap-top to the management of your car and they reset it. 5 minutes work. mostly for free or 10euro.

2)if this does not work than the airbag-module is damaged(dependin to car brand. for exp. Alfa Romeo damage but VW resets). So you need a new one. Which is very expensive in europe. Try to find one on Internet. But be very care full of the RIGHT NO.!!!!!! Each other car has diffrent no. of airbags etc. depending to build year.

A lot of Succes.

Bahram
