This kit from Idata will do 3X lock to start on some GM vehicles including Sierra trucks. I have the T-harness but do not know what module comes with that kit.... The plugs are not the same to use a ALCA module with it.... Any Idata Gurus out there??????

You do not use an idatalink ads-alca. It has its own module aka FTRS (firstech remote start)/ ADS-RS if you bought the ft-gm10-dc all contents are included.

i have yet to see the harness sold alone. are you sure that isn't an xpresskit part?
T-harnesses are great as you can bench prep, get in the car and plug it all in.

that must be a region specific part, as i've only seen them bundled together. you can order the FT-DC controller and it'll be a stand alone
