I just installed a pyle dvd player and legacy monitor in my F150. The model is a PLTVD-91. Everything was working fine but I had to mess with the settings. I went to the "TV Type " setting and selected "PAL" which i'm to find out now is Europeon ?? Anyway. It started what looked like some software loading on the screen and I'm not sure if I switched it off or what but the DVD screen is black now. The remote for the screen does'nt respond. I only get DVD sound if I hold the power button on the screen in(WTF)  The TV tuner still seems ok and I think the game section too. You can only access the general settings in the DVD mode so I can't see anything to change it back. I tried powering down (and disconecting) with no luck. Any way to set it back (a reset?) without sending it back??  PLEASE HELP. I've only had it 8days!!! Help the newbie if you can guys. Thanks, Gary

I would imagine there is some sort of reset, have you looked through your manual for something like a "reset to defult" setting. PAL is the TV standard for europe, NTSL (NTSC, something) is north america. So when you switched that you switched its mode, so now your monitor can't display the signal. If your TV supports PAL you can switch that to PAL and you should be able to see everything to switch it back. Also try Pyles tech support, there at www.pyleaudio.com.
