Linear actuator controller wiring

I have installed a linear actuator to lift my bonnet up on my car. Currently I have a linear actuator wired directly back to a 7 channel remote controller - this control box has 2x 30amp relays built in which basically when you press and hold button 1 the actuator extends and when you press button 2 and hold it closes. I wanted to get to a position where you could press the button 1 and it fully opened and then pressed the second button once and it full closes. To aid this I bought a Spal linear actuator controller - https://www.surpluscenter.com/_MoreSpecs/i5-1577-c.pdf Now here is where the problem starts! The Spal controller requires 5 wires to go to the actuator - i think its made to be used exclusively with the correct Spal actuator (which I do not have) instead I have a linear actuator with 3 wires exactly like the set up below - http://www.surpluscenter.com/Electrical/Relays-Contactors-Solenoids/DC-Relays-Contactors-Solenoids/12-VDC-7-CHANNEL-WIRELESS-REMOTE-CONTROL-11-3305.axd Is there a way to connect the 2 things together to accomplish what I am trying to do? what actuator are you using? I underdatnd its 3-wire but how is it wired so i can understand how your setup is workingI drink current, eat ohms, and bleed voltage

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure what actuator i am using it seems to have only 2 wires going to it brown and yellow. These are both 12v From the 7 channel controller - channels 1 & 2 are the 30 amp relays - they have 5 pins (from left to right these are) Yellow +ve Brown +ve Red +v permanent live Orange - Ground Purple - Ground Does that help? Can this be integrated into the remote system? Thanks

I looks like the 5 wire ones have reference wires to let the controller know where it's at. If that's the case, you can't use your actuator. I probably would have just used a couple of timer relays instead. You could dial in the time they output to open and close.

Or you could use limit switches.
