2014 Camry XLE V6 PTS

Hello I heard Idatalink bypass Ads-ALCA TL6 alone can be installed and use as remote start to start the car using factory remote. Is that correct? Does anyone have a diagram for it? Thanks dcd

I have used both and they are both solid installs. If you want the ADS guide just look it up on their website.

Hi I did it. I flashed it and installed the bypass only. The car is now started with factory OEM remote :))dcd

I just bought an RF kit from compustar RF-2W704-SH. I plugged in the data port on the brain of idatalink Alva. Nothing happens when I press any button on the new remote. The new led remote has the word "call" on it. What does that mean? And how do I make this work? Thanksdcd

Did the remote kit have the RF decoder with it? Did you program the remotes to the vehicle?

This is what I got Whats Included: 1x 2W704R-SH Remote (2-way LCD) 1x 1WSHR Remote (1-way) ANT-2WSH Antenna Antenna Cable There is also a little loop wire with one end connector with 2 pin. I have no clue what it is. I can send you a picture through text if you have a phone # I guess I have to buy the decoder? And I have not program the remotes yet. dcd

The remotes don't come pre-programmed on that one, so they will need programmed first. It also says the ft-d100 is required and I know some of the remotes didn't come with it.

$58 online. I'd almost return the remote kit and get one that comes with it.

Does anyone have any manual or instruction on the COMPUSTAR RF kit? And maybe for the RF decoder? dcd
