FT-EZGO Passive Arming/Locking

I've been searching for weeks, sending emails to Compustar and just have not had any luck so I thought I would try here... Recently purchased remote start using Drone Mobile and the FT-EZ GO Hands-Free Entry? I am experiencing an issue with the passive(auto) lock function. The single manual lock/unlock button on the EZGO fob works properly. Passive unlock or disarm also works properly when I approach the truck. Passive lock does not work when I walk away in certain situation... After playing with it a bit, it seems the passive lock only works during a specific scenario. If the vehicle is not driven (shifted out of park). For example:

Lock truck using any method
Approach truck, passive unlock works
Walk away without driving the vehicle (you can open and close door and start it, just not drive/shift out of park), passive lock works properly
Now if I actually start it and shift out of park (i.e., drive) the truck, shut it off, then get out and walk away, I have to manual lock doors (manual fob button or mobile drone app). Passive lock will not work

Basically, the normal daily use-case for approach passive unlock, start/drive, park, shut off and walk away, passive lock doesn't work. If I approach, auto unlock, don't drive, walk away again, auto lock works... I did find the following online: “Passive arming will not work with 6.07 at the moment." Can someone explain if this is the problem? If so, when will an update be available. Half the point (passive lock) of the hands-free function is not fully working... Any ideas? Thank you for your support. I love the product, but would like to have the additional benefit of passive lock.

Your remote start should have passive mode. You can enable/disable passive mode using your remote key fob. So I don't think it's good idea to set EZGO lock/unlock option.
