I'll be installing a Viper 4211V remote start system on a 2014 Rav4 this Saturday and have a quick questions. Basically this is the immobilizer (directed 4X10) and remote start all in one but I'm a little confused on the connections for the actually starter wire. The main, 12 pin, harness is showing pin 1 & 7 as start 2 output and is showing to connect to the factory starter wire. Pin 2 & 8 are showing to be starter 2 input from a 12v source.
Is the directions indicating that I need to connect wires 2&8 to a constant 12v source and splice wires 1&7 into the main factory starter wire (non-push to start)? If not, is this system set up for vehicles that may have two starter wires and I only need to connect wire 2 to a 12 volt constant and wire 1 to the factory wire?
Am I way overthinking what the directions are showing?

oh how I hate that I can't edit my post yet. Anyway, I've posted the install sheet and circled the wires I'm questioning in red (bottom right hand side)2&8 are WHITE/ brown and 1&7 are white.

I believe you can ignore starter 2, check to make sure but I believe the vehicle only has 1 starter wire.

The vehicle only has one starter wire, I have researched the wire codes for this specific vehicle and I have searched the question I'm asking but wasn't able to find the answere. I'm not asking what wire color the factory start wire is, I already know that answere. My question is simply what wire(s) must be used for starter output and/or input off the 4X10 as this shows to be a stand-alone unit for remote start but doesn't show your typical starter 1 wire off the main harness. I didn't want to just "assume", that's why I asked the question.

You will need the MC 501 and a 556U plus spare key assuming this is a key rather than PTS vehicle.

Thanks Howie...after further research, you are correct, I do need the MC501 for this particular vehicle.
