Hello everyone,
just a quick question, as it been a while since i have done a 2 wire P light install. im going to be doing a RS on a 2015 outlander sport, and i know the p. lights are split up for this vehicle.
is this the proper way of wiring those up? if someone can confirm for me that would be great. thanks in advance!

Diode isolate them, band towards the parking light wire, no need for relays.

awesome, so a 1 amp coming from my positive p lights on the remote start to each wire should be good? or do they need more amps?

Split the parking light wire two, add a diode to each, then connect to parking light wire. A 1 amp should be fine, I normally use a 3 amp though.

ok thanks, i thought so. just to be clear on your recent comment. when you say split the wire, are you referring to the one coming from the remote start? so i would take the P light wire from the remote start, split it for the 2 P light wires on the car, and add a diode to each of the wires i split from the remote start, and have the stripe side facing the remote start? or facing the car side?

Pulled this from google search, they are using 6 or 10 amp diodes.
