I have a install with a old school Clifford RSX1.2 remote start on a 2012 Ford Fusion tomorrow. The customer wants the rear defrost hooked up. I know I have a (-) blue/white (H3/1) rear defrost pulsed or latched output. Does anyone have any info or pointers on this circuit for me before I jump into this project.
I drink current, eat ohms, and bleed voltage

Just outta curiosity for future installs, did you get that info from directechs or is there a free site you found that at. Also, Do u think I'd be ok wiring that directly to the unit since I'll be tying into that circuit directly at the defrost switch or does it recommend using a relay

The defrost info is from Omega Wiring. I have an account with them.
You could also try:   http://wirecolor.com
which is through the Fortin site.
It usually cost $5.00 per vehicle for a 48 hour assess to 1 vehicle, but sometimes has that info on defrost that other sites don't carry. That site has photos and wire locations.
