I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and have 3 10" subs, 2 amps for the subs and one amp for the speakers. I have very bad headlight dimming and bad voltage drop even with my lights off. I'm trying to figure out the best route to take. I have a second battery I could hookup but I keep hearing that only really benefits with the car off which I rarely do. I'm trying to find the best solution without breaking the bank. I have already done the big 3 upgrade and replaced my starting battery with an xs power battery. Would a distribution block make any difference along with something else? I am trying to find a solution without replacing my alternator just yet

Depends on how much current your amps are pulling. If they are pulling more than the system can sustain, then you will need to upgrade the alternator. Light dimming will always be an issue as the charging system has no way of knowing when it will have the added demand to it. Having an extra battery will help as it is just a giant reserve of energy. Just make sure to properly separate the battery from the system when not in use.

Upgrade the Big 3 (see Hot Topics forum) and consider installing a high output alternator. Nothing else will solve the problem.

Since you have the battery start with that. If that doesn't help consider the big 3 and probably start saving for the high output alternator.
