I'm having the same issue on my Ford Focus (2012, MTS, PTS, 5706v-Dball2) in this thread:

Thanks to everyone in this thread, I'm going to do some hardwiring and hopefully solve this issue!

I appreciate everyone that has helped me, and I hard wired the tech wire to the engine and the car starts fine now, problem solved, again thank yo everyone for helping me out with this problem.
