I have a 2012 ford fusion. I will be replacing the factory head unit with a kenwood dnn992. I will be using an idatalink maestro rr to keep the steering wheel controls, microsoft sync. The factory head unit has an internal satelitte radio tuner. So obviously, i have to get a new tuner to use with the aftermarket radio. Will i also need a new antenna for the satellite radio or could I use the existing antenna? Im guessing the factory sat. Radio antenna is built into the factory antenna mounted on the roof

The other problem is the new head unit only has 1 serial port. So how do i connect both the idatalink maestro and the new sat. Radio tuner

The SiriusXM tuner will plug into a dedicated plug on the back of the radio. It does not connect via usb.
