2006 chevy cobalt with remote start being installed. Problem is the remote start turns the car con but doesn't start it. As in accessories come on then turn off like it's supposed to but the car doesn't attempt to start in the time.

edit: remote start now works i had to diode the starter wire from the remote start to the accessory/starter wire and put the accessory wire from the remote start on the starter/accessory wire.

2006 Chevy Cobalt wont remote start unless key is turned to acc position and then switched off and removed, so if the key is in acc position and not switched off it wont remote start or if the key isnt put in at all it does the same thing causing only the car accessories to come on but not starting also when the key isn't in the car and a remote start us attempted. the HUD says "power steerting". Alert 150R remote starter. Any fix suggestions?

Did you try disconnecting the accessory wire and try remote starting ? What bypass did you use?

Does it have a transponder key, with the antenna around the ignition switch, or no? If it does, you can do a key in a box, and just get your Ignition and your Accessory, that's all you need for remote start, ign, acc and transponder.
If your vehicle doesn't have the transponder anti theft, then you need to interface with the pk3 (whi whi/blk) wires.
