Greetings all, I am thinking about adding a 300w mono-amp and two 10" subs in a ported box to my 2015 BMW X1. I would be getting the signal to the amp from a AudioControl LC2i (2-ch LOC). I have 2 problems regarding this simple install 1) should I tap into the rear speakers for a signal to the LOC or should I use the OEM sub wires since I will be disabling the OEM subs anyway? and 2) will tapping into the electronics (and battery)of these new model BMW's trigger some type of code when I bring my car to the dealer for service? I know that BMW is very particular about their cars whether you bought them or lease it which is why I would like to hear what others have to say.

The OEM sub is where you want to get your signal.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
